Travel Clinic – indication for vaccine
Patients will be identified following travelling risk assessment at their travel clinic consult and use of online tools (Nathnac, fit for travel).
Where there are doubts as to the patient’s suitability for the vaccine advice should be sought from CityDoc travel clinic helpline
Details of the side effects will be discussed at the travel clinic consultation.
Very common, Myalgia, headache, malaise, nausea, diarrhoea, pain at injection site, oedema, eythema at injection site. Common side effects usually disappear within 1-2 days without treatment. We also give advice at our travel clinic on additional vaccines required for area of travel.
