Our rapid HIV Test London produces an accurate result within 60 seconds using a simple finger prick test. We use the Insti HIV test produced by BioLytical laboratories. This test is 99.96 % accurate from 90 days post contact for detecting HIV 1 and 2 antibodies. See link on right hand side of the screen for further detailed information.

Early HIV/STD Screening

This test provides highly accurate results using DNA (PCR) testing from 7-10 days after contact.Our early STD screen also checks for Hepatitis B and C.
Results are available within 3-5 working days.

HIV DUO Test

The gold standard test for the diagnosis of HIV is the HIV-Duo test. This screens for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies and the p24 antigen.The test is 98 percent accurate from 4 weeks after contact.
Results are available within 4 hours (London Clinics) or next day (rest of UK). If the initial test is reactive we will go on to confirm the result using 3 independent techniques. In the case of positive results, we will provide full support and referral for treatment.

To confirm all negative results all clients are advised to re-test at 3 months post contact, when the HIV DUO test becomes 99.98 % accurate.
